Make smooth and creamy Dulce de Leche fudge using just four ingredients. You can make this easy caramel-flavored fudge in the microwave or on the stovetop.

If you love opening a can or jar of Dulce de Leche and eating it by the spoonful, you should definitely use the silky smooth caramel to make delicious fudge!
This easy Dulce de Leche fudge has a robust caramel flavor and is so creamy that it practically melts in your mouth. It's similar to our Caramel Fudge which is made using caramel sauce but it has a darker gold color and a richer caramel flavor.
This fudge is made using Dulce de Leche which is caramelized sweetened condensed milk. The deep golden brown caramel is thick and creamy and it blends beautifully with white chocolate to make delicious caramel-flavored fudge. A little vanilla and salt are added to enhance the flavor of the fudge.

Tips for making easy Dulce de Leche Fudge:
You can see the printable recipe below, but before we get to that here are a few tips for making this fudge.
- Be sure to line your pan for easy removal. I like to use non-stick tin foil but you can also use regular foil or parchment paper lightly sprayed with baking spray. See our
- DO NOT overheat your white chocolate. If you do, the fudge will become greasy. If this happens, pour the fudge into a clean bowl and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then stir to incorporate the oil back into the fudge. Do not over-stir as this will bring more oil out of the chocolate. If the chocolate is still too hot and the oil won't blend back into the white chocolate, let it rest for 15 to 30 more minutes, stirring again after 15 minutes. Adding the vanilla extract may also help to bring the fudge back together.
- I used Nestle Premier White Morsels to make this fudge. These white chocolate chips are made using palm kernel oil instead of cocoa butter. The vanilla flavor is perfect for this fudge. Plus, this type of chocolate (compound chocolate) firms up easily. If you use pure white chocolate chips that contain cocoa butter, you will need to use an additional 4 ounces so your fudge firms up.

Make smooth and creamy Dulce de Leche fudge using just four ingredients. You can make this easy caramel-flavored fudge in the microwave or on the stovetop.
- 24 ounces Nestle Premier White Morsels (white chips), or 28 ounces pure white chocolate chips
- 13.4 ounces (1 can) Dulce de Leche
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
- 1 pinch salt
Line an 8-inch square baking pan with non-stick tin foil or regular foil or parchment paper that's been lightly sprayed with baking spray.
Pour the white chips into a microwave-safe mixing bowl.
Heat the white chips on high power for 1 minute.
Remove and stir in the Dulce de Leche.
Heat at 70% power for 90 seconds, then let the bowl rest in the warm microwave for 3 minutes.
Stir the white chips and Dulce de Leche until all the chocolate melts and the fudge is smooth.
If all the chips haven't melted, do not continue to stir. Just let the chocolate rest for 5 minutes, then stir again.
If needed, you can heat the fudge at 70% power for 10 more seconds, let the bowl rest for a few minutes in the microwave, then stir. Repeat until all the white chips are melted but do not overheat the fudge or it will become greasy.
Stir in the vanilla and pinch of salt until combined.
Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and spread it into an even layer.
Cover the pan with plastic wrap and let the fudge cool at room temperature for about 4 hours until firm. Or, you can chill the fudge in the refrigerator for about 2 hours until firm.
Remove the fudge from the pan and peel off the tin foil or parchment paper.
Cut the fudge into 25 squares and enjoy!

- Then, stir until all the white chocolate chips have melted.
