She then stirred in white chocolate, marshmallow fluff, and maraschino cherries and topped that fudge layer with some chocolate frosting flavored with Coca-Cola.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I wanted to simplify the Cherry Coke Fudge recipe making is fool-proof and easy to make.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It took a bit of experimenting, boiling down real Cherry Coke, using more maraschino cherry juice, making the fudge all chocolate, and I finally found a fabulous, easy version of the cherry and cola-flavored fudge.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"680\" height=\"680\" src=\"https:\/\/howtomakeeasyfudge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/easy-cherry-coke-fudge-recipe-homemade-candy.jpg\" alt=\"a single square of Cherry Coke Fudge\" class=\"wp-image-1625\" title=\"If you love the flavor of Cherry Coke you have got to try this easy, homemade, Cherry Coke Fudge. See the video below for a fun trick to make this task easy!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also line the pan with parchment paper strips. Lay one strip across the pan then lay another strip going the opposite way across the pan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Once your fudge has hardened you can use the tin foil or parchment paper to easily lift the fudge out of the pan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you can't line the pan you can grease it with butter. You may need to use quite a few paper towels.\n<ul>\n<li>If your cherries are too wet your fudge will be wet too! I skipped this step in one of the first batches of fudge I made and it was a huge mess. The juice oozed out of the cherries and made the fudge soupy. Video tutorial! #fudge #cherrycokefudge #cherries #candy\" srcset=\"https:\/\/howtomakeeasyfudge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/how-to-make-cherry-coke-fudge-recipe.jpg 680w, https:\/\/howtomakeeasyfudge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/how-to-make-cherry-coke-fudge-recipe-213x320.jpg 213w, https:\/\/howtomakeeasyfudge.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/how-to-make-cherry-coke-fudge-recipe-453x680.jpg 453w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cherry Fudge Layer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Stir together 24-28 ounces of finely chopped white chocolate or white chocolate chips with one (14-ounce) can of sweetened condensed milk.\n<ul>\n<li>NOTE: If using white confectionery coating chips (no cocoa butter listed in the ingredients) use 24 ounces, if using pure white chocolate (with cocoa butter listed in the ingredients) then use 28 ounces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat in the microwave on 70% power for 1 minute then remove and stir a few times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat for an additional 45 seconds at 70% power then allow the bowl to sit in the microwave for 3 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove and stir just until the chips start to melt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour in one tablespoon of maraschino cherry juice and 6 drops of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2U4aume\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">cherry flavoring<\/a> and stir to combine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then stir in the chopped maraschino cherries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour into the prepared pan and spread into an even layer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>NOTES: Do not overheat your white chocolate chips and condensed milk or you may end up with greasy fudge. Heating slowly and allowing the residual heat of the melted chocolate to melt the remaining chips is essential. If you do have greasy-looking fudge, see our <a href=\"https:\/\/howtomakeeasyfudge.com\/easy-fudge-recipe-faq\/\">Fudge FAQ<\/a> page for tips on fixing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chocolate Cola Fudge Layer<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Blend together 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips or finely chopped semi-sweet chocolate bars with 1 cup of sweetened condensed milk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Heat in the microwave at 70% power for 1 minute 15 seconds then let rest in the microwave for 3 minutes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove and stir until the chips melt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir in 8 drops of <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2U4aume\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\">Cola Flavoring<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spread over the cherry fudge layer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cover and set aside for about 8 hours or refrigerate for about 3 hours until firm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove and let sit at room temperature, if needed, for about 30 minutes before cutting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where can you find Cherry Flavoring and Cola Flavoring?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3O9jnoq\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">LorAnn Candy Flavoring Oils<\/a> have really nice flavor and are pretty easy to find on Amazon or at cake and candy decorating shops, in discount stores like Walmart (in the baking aisle or cake decorating\/craft area), and in grocery stores (either in the baking aisle or in the pharmacy).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also find <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/3YfROhJ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow\">Cola Flavoring<\/a> on Amazon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can I use real Cherry Coke?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I tried using real Cherry Coke to make Cherry Coke Fudge and here's what I did:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Make the cherry layer as listed in the recipe below.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pour a 2-liter bottle of Cherry Coke into a large saucepan or skillet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Continue to boil, stirring often, until the liquid reduces down to about \u00bc cup of thick syrup. This can take over an hour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Remove from the heat and stir in \u00be cup of sweetened condensed milk and 8 ounces of semi-sweet chocolate chips.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stir until melted and pour over the cherry fudge layer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The flavor of the Cherry Coke will be much more subtle. It has a nice flavor but I honestly don't think you'd definitely say it tastes like Cherry Coke.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What if I leave the cola flavoring out?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Without the cola flavoring, this fudge tastes almost exactly like a Cordial Cherry. It is amazing!
