Your lime fudge will taste fantastic.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2FSNr4q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Dickinson's Lime Curd<\/a> is available in many grocery stores and it tastes great in this easy fudge recipe. Just be sure to buy two 10 ounce jars as you'll need 1 \u2153 cups to make this fudge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What is the difference between Persian limes and key limes?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Persian Limes, those that you find in the grocery store next to the lemons, are typically 2-3 inches in diameter, have thick dark green skin, and a nice lime flavor.<\/li>\n<li>Key Limes are much smaller, usually 1-\u00bd inches in diameter, have thin, leathery skin, and a very acidic, intense, slightly herbal, lime flavor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Can I use real key limes to flavor my fudge?<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>I really love that this fudge is essentially flavored with real key limes being key lime curd is made with real key limes. If this happens be sure to check out our <a href=\"https:\/\/howtomakeeasyfudge.com\/easy-fudge-recipe-faq\/\">Easy Fudge FAQ page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<li>Once all the chips have melted, pour the fudge into an 8-inch pan that is either lined with non-stick tin foil or parchment paper or buttered well.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>That's it!\u00a0\u00a0This lime fudge is seriously so easy to make and it has such a lovely flavor. No one will ever guess it took you less than 10 minutes to make it.<\/p>\n<h3>What type of white chocolate should be used to make key lime fudge?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>I developed this recipe using <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2nDaqbd\">Nestle Premier White Chips<\/a>\u00a0which made a wonderfully flavored fudge.\n<ul>\n<li>Nestle white \"chocolate\" chips are actually considered a confectionery coating because they are made using vegetable oil (palm kernel oil) instead of cocoa butter which is used to make pure white chocolate.<\/li>\n<li>You can use pure white chocolate chips (made with cocoa butter) to make this fudge but know that you will need to use more white chocolate than confectionery coating in order for your fudge to set up property and that the lime flavor will not be quite as intense because the flavor of the cocoa butter will mute the lime flavor slightly.<\/li>\n<li>You can also use other types of white confectionery coating like White Candy Melts, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2Via3lo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Merckens White Wafers,<\/a> White Almond Bark, <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2K58WV2\">Ghirardelli White Melting Wafers<\/a>, or <a href=\"https:\/\/amzn.to\/2UbX7Ry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Peter's Ice Caps<\/a> (one of my personal favorites).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>NOTE:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>White chocolate is a bit softer than white confectionery coating so you\u2019ll need to adjust the recipe accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>If using white confectionery coating chips (no cocoa butter listed in the ingredients) use 24 ounces, if using pure white chocolate (with cocoa butter listed in the ingredients) then use 28 ounces.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1669 size-full\" title=\"Tart and refreshing Key Lime Fudge is super easy to make using just two ingredients.
