Fun holiday fudge idea: White chocolate Melting snowman fudge.
In a large, microwave-safe bowl, place chocolate chips and frosting.
Microwave for 90 seconds at 70 percent power. Stir very well, using the residual heat to completely melt the chocolate.
Scrape the mixture into a prepared 8 or 9-inch square pan that has been lined with non-stick foil.
If the fudge is soft, place in the refrigerator for 5 to 10 minutes so your candies won't sink.
TIP: Lightly score the fudge into 9 pieces and place the snowman parts within the scored lines.
Slice Reese's cups in half. Break pretzels into pieces.
Top the fudge with the halved Reese's for hats, candy eyes, orange Mike and Ike's, and pretzel sticks.
Let set fully for 2 hours. Slice around the decorations.
To cook on the stove top, use a double boiler.
To make your own double boiler, rest a heat-safe bowl on top of a saucepan of simmering water. There should be one to two inches of space between the top of the water and the bottom of the bowl.
Place your chocolate chips and frosting in the bowl and stir well until the chocolate chips are about three-quarters of the way melted. Then, remove from the heat and use the residual heat, stirring, until the mixture is very smooth. Then, pour into your pan.
